The Sony Vaio E

Sony's laptops used to be the best out there. Recently the storm of Apple has beaten them, but this is Sony's reply to the Macbook: The Vaio E. It's available in 17", 15" and 14" guises and a multitude of colours. It's around £500 for a lower end model, which is competitively priced for this spec. So yes, the spec, an i5 CPU and Radeon HD5470 graphics card. As well as decent inside specs, it has a Blu-Ray player and a 1920x1080 HD screen as well as an HDMI output. As with just about every Windows laptop nowadays, it's running Windows 7. Now hopefully it isn't running an Sony dumbware which clogs it up and slows it down. So, all in all, it looks pretty impressive and is well priced. A job well done, Sony!
