Nokia N8 gets real

This is Nokia's first ever 12MP camera phone. I don't want to stress pixel size, because it's not even close to everything, but it does bring it up to scratch with the Sony Ericsson Satio and other 12MP cameraphones. It has a 3.5" capacitive touch screen; again, a Nokia first. That screen is OLED, the same technology used on the Samsung H1 I own, which makes it very easy to see in bright daylight. Now, that camera, it is a 12MP resolution. It also has a Xenon flash and Carl Zeiss optics. Now, you can save all those high quality shots on the 16GB of internal storage and also on a MicroSD card which you can stick in it to boost that storage. The camera also has HD video recording so you can have the best videos and images.

As with most Nokias nowadays, this has access to the Ovi store, Free Ovi maps, and Symbian. But this Symbian isn't any old version, it is the new Symbian ^3 OS. This means the phone has multiple homescreens which can store apps and widgets. It also has multitasking and multitouch. It comes in 5 bright colours (hint, hint, Apple?) and should come in at under $500. This phone was rumoured beforehand, but now it has been officially confirmed, so all these facts are truth.
