Sometimes when I start up my laptop I get a taskbar button which really shouldn’t be there belonging to a driver which has launched itself during the booting process and has for some reason decided to waste space on the taskbar with it’s own button. This button can be pressed but when you do so no window maximizes or minimizes so there’s no apparent way to close these windows.
Right clicking on it will in fact provide the answer. Clicking ‘Close’ on the right-click context menu will not do anything but clicking ‘Maximize’ will. Doing so does in fact bring a relative window up which you can close simply by clicking the red ‘Close’ cross. It’s as simple as that.
I hope this helped.
Peace,
Steve :)
