Why isn't ITV HD on anything but Freeview and Freesat?

Why is it that those in the world who have Freesat and Freeview now have ITV HD, but those of us who fork out insane prices for television that isn't on that don't receive it?

Shouldn't it be available to everyone or noone? I guess it's a bit like mobile phones exclusively on certain networks. But this is slightly different, because Freeview and Freesat have a one-off cost and that's it, but on Virgin or Sky you have to pay a fee each month as well as instalation. So why shouldn't the people who pay more get the same channel as those who don't pay as much. It's not like having Freeview or Freesat is making you deprived because you still get some of the best channels, but I can't understand ITV's reasoning for only having their HD channel on Freesat and Freeview. I personally would love to see Cheryl Cole on a saturday night in HD and I'm sure many in the world would.

So, ITV, sort it out, let everyone have your Cheryl Cole HD, oh wait, ITV HD channel, that's it.

I'm loving the edited picture you used GIMP to make :) I think it's a great alternative to Photoshop :)

Glad you got comments back!

Keep up the good work and make sure you carry on taking my tips ;)
