Google Wave

I am very lucky in the sense that I have been invited to join Google Wave. I, of course, accepted and launched myself into the site. It is currently in a preview stage but you can easily see the potential it has. It is a bit of a cross between email and instant messaging. Only the instant messaging is way cooler. You see the typing live, so it's actually like a conversation. You also get add ons. Below is a picture of the Sudoku add on I am awful at. There is one thing I don't understand about it, however. And that is because the whole point of Wave is to have all your contacts there, but if only a few hundred thousand people have it, then that is not going to work. Out of 1000 people at my school and teachers, only I have it. Same case with the rest of my family, nobody has it. Emails and threads are all sorted into waves, which is a neat idea but people need to understand the concept first. I can see this being used in the business sector, for live meetings, and also social networking. But once it is out of preview stage, I am sure this will be a HUGE hit.

Yay, I added you :) I can't use it all that well though because my laptop's screen is poky.
