Symbian gets Spotify

Spotify mobile has been available on iPhone and Android for a while now, and, not wanting to be left behind, Symbian now has it on their app store. It is similar to iPhone and Android models, with offline playlists and the necessity for £10 a month subscription. This means 21 Nokia phones and the Sony Ericsson Satio and Samsung i8910HD also have it available for their usage. This probably won't be a huge hit, but it is there if you want it.

Whoa... yet another reason to buy the Satio. Of course, I'm not a huge fan of the Satio because of the stupid choice of going for a resistive touchscreen, which makes typing ten times harder than what it would be on a capacitive touchscreen. Oh well, that's not what this post is about.

So Spotify is spreading. Awesome news. I just hope that someday soon it'll be available everywhere, from your refridgerator to that fish-shaped radio stuck to your bathroom window (don't tell anyone I have one, deal?). I dunno whether I'd be able to pay the monthly service fee without a bank account, unfortunately.

I know, the monthly service sucks, I wish mobile also had a free option, but that would just not be viable for them.
