EMI sues Beatles download website

It became clear yesterday that the entire catalogue of Beatles songs will be made available on a 16GB memory stick for £200, of which there will be only 30000 as it is limited edition. But now music giant EMI is sueing bluebeat.com for selling the group's music online as MP3's without permission. The site sells downloads for 25c as opposed to iTunes $1. It also allows streaming for free which is a great idea not capatalised on by Apple or Amazon. EMI nor the Beatles has been able to sort out their music being able to be bought and downloaded online. EMI said that Bluebeat is "not authorised content to be sold or made available on Bluebeat.com". I personally think it is outrageous that the music industry can't sort out one of the most prolific bands in history for download. Come on, sort it out!
