So, the Palm Pre is coming to Britain on the 16th of October to o2. It will be available on the same contracts as the iPhone which is bad in a way because it would have been nice to see o2 separate their high end smart phones from each other. So in two weeks time the UK will have something the US has had for literally months. It will feature the WebOS which has had so much talk about, especially about the notorious iTunes syncing feature. Palm said there will be no differences between the cross Atlantic versions, which us brits would rather have a slight improvement to the build quality. But, it is out on o2 on the 16th of October on the iPhone contracts if you want a smart phone and don’t like apple.

Thanks for the news - I've been contemplating the Palm Pre for a while. I just don't want to end up with a new phone where not enough people buy it to make it viable....still debating

nice, just checked that out, i think if you are an apple hater then this is for you, you're in it for the long run, but it would be worth it.
