Google Envelopes

You know how it is, you send an envelope containing Top Secret documentation, a couple of grams of nuclear explosives, atomic bomb blueprints and some birthday money, and the mailman totally loses the entire package. Soon you’ve got a very upset five-year-old niece on the phone screaming at you, ‘WHERE’S MY BIRTHDAY MONEY AND… the other stuff?’, and you blame it on the mailman but within weeks your entire family is ripped apart and the world ends.

Kinda.

Google can stop this from happening!

The basic idea behind this innovation comes from a bunch of clever Americans who probably started it as a joke but then twisted it into a really good idea. If Google were to co-operate they’d have to integrate a ‘Send as Envelope’ button into Google Maps or Earth. Click it and your printer will be impregnated with the template for an envelope. On the envelope will be something like this…

Google Envelopes

Enough said.

It's a pretty good idea, but would happen if you were sending it from, say, England to America?
