Tech news buzzing around the web today: when an American-Egyptian woman's MacBook meets airport security at Tel Aviv airport.
Her Blog says that security questioned her for two hours, and did invasive searches including looking through photos, before announcing that they "had to blow up your laptop". They didn't blow it up, however, they just shot three bullets through it, miraculously saving the hard drive with several years of important data on it, and the Israeli security forces have given her compensation.
