We all know that 3D is taking the world by storm. With the film Avatar being the biggest ever and featuring in more gadgets it is booming. Now it seems that we might have it in our homes sooner than we think; with a bit of help from Sony. Its PS3 gaming console is set to receive a 3D update which doesn't require a new hardware box. Added to this, Sony has just announced that its Blu-ray home cinema systems will be capable of playing back 3D. Of course, you will need a 3D TV to work it, as well as geeky glasses and a 3D movie/game. It might be a while still but it seems that 3D is reaching our homes sooner than we think.
