
Pictured above is the PSN video store through their desktop software, Media Go. They have launched a new video service, allowing you to download full movies to keep or rent. As such, there is no HD. But the fact that the PS3 is HD would imply that soon Sony is going to put in HD videos. The service is good, with a nice collection of movies to choose from. Personally, I don't think it will do nearly as well as iTunes store for a number of reasons. One of which is Sony doesn't have a huge music and media player. It has the PSP which is good, but miles behind iPod. This video release also times with Media Go software 1.3 release, which is better but flawed as before. My thoughts about it are here.
