The Technokratos Christmas List

First on the list is rechargeable batteries. Nothing special you might think, they've been around a while. Well, these ones charge via USB. Snazzy huh? Get them here from Amazon UK.

Next up on the list is something pretty obvious, an iPod dock, but with a twist. Called the iPod Lava Docking Station it features no less than an LED light show to match the music. Just under £70 from Play.com.

Third on the list is Powermat. It is a wireless mat thingy which wirelessly charges an iPhone, Blackberry and DS. It is a bit flawed, but still an awesome present for your loved ones. This, too, is just under £70 but from Amazon.

Fourth on the list is in my view the best MP3 player on the market, the SONY S-Series. Amazon are having a deal where you get the 16GB model for the price of the 8GB, so it is cheaper than its arch nemesis, the iPod nano. But it has a bigger screen, better battery and sound quality, and works with iPlayer programmes.

Fifth up is Call of Duty Modern Warefare 2. This game is a huge hit across the world and would light up any gamer's face this christmas. Supermarkets generally sell it cheapest, but hunt about for the best deals.

Last up is arguably the best computer, the ultimate mac. It is only for the super rich, but would be worth every penny of £15000.

Doodle 4 Google Winners

'At Google, we like to reflect the ever-changing world of our users through the logo designs on our homepage. Each year, we ask young people aged 5–16 from across the UK to design their own 'Google doodle', and this year's theme was 'My Hero'.'

People tweeting their annoyance at Blackberry

It seems that emails are not getting their emails on their blackberry. And in true 21st century style everyone is tweeting it. It is a trending topic and it seems it has affected everyone, although the full details are not yet out. The page of the hashtag is here and don't forget that everyone who contributes to Technokratos is on Twitter as well as an account for the blog itself. The links are on the right.

The sounds hidden on a windows computer

I was recently digging about in my computer's hard drive and came across these files. They are all wma format. I have made a video on them and uploaded it to Technokratos on Youtube. Check it out alongside our other videos and express your views on our videos down below if you want.

Goo.gl Without Google Toolbar

Not so long ago, I posted about how Google seems to be going mad, rolling out new services all the time or enhancing and improving on existing ones. I mentioned that Google has now unleashed its own URL-shortening service, which is unfortunately restricted to people who install the Google Toolbar.
